What is a paid notification?

A paid notification is a short message a brand pays to deliver to a person who agreed to receive it, where part of what the brand pays goes to that person. It replaces the guesswork of ads nobody asked for with attention that was offered on purpose.

How it differs from an ad

An ad is shown to people who did not ask for it, and the money goes to the platform showing it. A paid notification goes only to people who chose the topic and accepted the offer, and part of the money goes to them.

Why brands pay more for it

A person who agreed to hear from you reads the message. That is worth more than thousands of impressions scrolled past, so the price per ping is higher than a banner view, and the person shares in it.

What keeps it honest

Every paid notification is labelled as paid, names the brand, and shows its pay before acceptance. Leaving takes one reply.

Quick answers

Do I have to accept every ping?

No. Ignoring an offer costs you nothing, and you are only paid for pings you accept.

Is a paid notification legal?

Yes, when the person opted in and the message is clearly labelled as paid and from the brand, which is how PaidPings works.
